We Had Fun At IMM's Garden Playground!

It was our family day out to IMM.
Lazy Daddy is only willing to go to IMM or Jurong Point.. so we often hang out at these two places. Well, remembered their garden playground as a wet one.. but they've changed! its now a dry land.. and the weather that day was damn sunny n hot! Too hot till we could only play for awhile outdoors.. had to hurry back indoors for the aircon!

It was Chloe's first time playing outdoor slides.. I'm sure she had lotsa' fun!

and that veri same nite Little Matthias came over to play with Chloe.. it was only after he left and we discovered that poor Chloe's down with a fever.. then the whole fever saga came about..

Glad that all's over now.. its relli impt to wipe and sanitize ourselves and kiddos after every outdoor play lo.. else it'd be a tiring n worrying time if they catch any virus or bugs from those outdoor playtime lo.. Lesson learnt! :p

Ol' What A HaZy DaE~

Today is one of those bad air day!

That got Mommy n Baby Chloe grounded at home.

Mommy's initial plan was to wake up, feed Darling Chloe breakfast and head out to Clementi to buy KOI Bubble Tea to try.. but when we woke up, it was pouring heavily so plans had to be pushed back till the rain stopped.

When the rain eventually stopped, Haze decided to pop by Singapore to say HI and so we waited for the haze to go away.. which it not only didn't but stl brought its frens instead (more and more haze + chao tar smell)

So that's our 19th October 2010 la.. so bored at home.. we were home yesterday as well. Besides heading out to buy lunch (oh ytd had MAC for lunch = never go out at all). Mommy hate being home sometimes.. Chloe too.. she tried asking Mommy to bring her out today..went to get her shoes from the shoe rack and pass her shoe to Mommy. hahaha.. Ain't she cute!

Getting to know you!!

Argh... its another 2 more weeks to go before Mummy & Daddy gets to see Bb Chen again.. and this time round, will they get to know Bb Chen better? As in Bb Chen's gender in particular?

It's certainly unsure for now.. Mummy is so envious to see most of the Forum Mummies are having Bb Boys..

However, Mummy knows that the most important thing is BB Chen's health.. Mummy and Daddy wish BB Chen to be delivered safe and sound and healthy!! That's all it matters!! After all BB Chen is Mummy's & Daddy's 心肝宝贝..

On to another note,

Mummy and Daddy bought BB Chen's first bed the other day.. all thanks to Ah Gong & Ah Ma.. for paying for the bed.. Mummy & Daddy rushed down to Taka Baby Fair last Monday to buy.. but delivery will only be on the 14th April.. It's better than nothing.. since it's free delivery and installation..

Hopefully BB Chen will be obedient enough to want to sleep on the cotbed.. cos it's not cheap.. it's also like one of the major purchase for BB Chen.. not to mention the first purchase done so far..

Mummy is tired.. she wants to KO soon.. =)

BB Chen's First Bed!

Mummy n Daddy are getting this new bed for BB Chen.. it's going to be BB Chen's first bed!

Updates on BB Chen & Mummy!

Dear Mummy n Daddy went for the gynae check up last sat to check on BB Chen's growth n health. Mummy ask Doctor John alot of questions as Mummy is very concern about what BB Chen gets.. even though she's hasnt been feeling too good lately.. cos she felt cramps aching pain again.. and shes not sure if she can take certain medicine. So it's always better to check with Doctor John.

Poor Mummy kena a surprise sudden blood test for this gynae visit.. Doctor John nv pre-inform Mummy that he plans to conduct a blood test. Mummy and Daddy was shock to hear..but stl, for the sake of BB Chen, went thru the test.. this time round its to test for Thalessimia and some blood counts. Daddy seemed to be afraid to see needles poking for blood test.. look..another hole on the same arm..poor mummy..

And here's a photo of Mummy's growing tummy.. It's not very nice.. and it has turned hairy.. must be due to the hormones. Mummy so scared there'll be lots of stretchmarks.. so now must keep applying bb oil.

BB Chen is in Mummy's tummy.. and here's the most recent scan of BB Chen.. BB Chen was in the kneeling position with hands like holding a book n reading..and he was upside down.. sleeping.. the circled area is where BB Chen face is.. can you spot BB Chen's Eyes Nose Mouth? and BB Chen was sleeping soundly.. looks just like Mummy when she's sleeping.

Hee.. Mummy just tooked up the package last Saturday and it cost 623 bucks..so ex..but all for the sake of BB Chen.. and Mummy's kind cousin Kelly gave her two types of Vitamins for BB Chen's growth.. one is the DHA Fish Oil and the other is Multi Vitamins.. Mummy hates the fish oil..cos it stinks n is huge.. so now.. Mummy has to swallow 3 types (Folic Acid as well) of pills after meal everytime..

Mummy Cousin Kelly also passed her some NUK milk bottles she nv used before.. quite cute rite..

Mummy stl hasnt buy any stuff for BB Chen yet.. Daddy's Parents aka BB Chen's Grandparents are kind enuff to offer to buy a new bed n pram for BB Chen. Yeah!!! So now Mummy is thinkin if a playpen is better or cot is better.. =)

Next visit to Doctor John is on 4 April 2009.. till then la.

Ooh... Mummy is going for another round of check up tmr!!!

Will Mummy get to see if BB Chen is a Boy boy? or Will BB Chen turn out to be Girl Girl??

Appointment is at 2.30pm.. so Mummy and Daddy will take mrt from Pioneer to Boon Lay.

An Introduction to Baby Junior Chen!

Baby Chen was conceived on 26 Nov 2008, that's the estimated date.

Mummy and Daddy only found out about Baby Chen in January and of course, we were all happy to hear the good news. Baby Chen was only about 6 weeks then.

Though at 6 weeks only, Baby Chen was already giving Mummy a torture as Mummy began to feel nausea, not only in the day but also at night. It was an All-Day Thing for Mummy.

Poor Mummy decided not to pop any medication to curb the morning sickness, Mummy only wanted to pop down what's best for Baby Chen.

After discovering Baby Chen's existence, Mummy & Daddy made an appointment to see Doctor John Yam for the first scan to see Baby Chen.

Here's the first time Mummy & Daddy saw Baby Junior Chen! Baby was just in a little sac. This was taken on the 3rd January 2009 and baby was just a mere 4mm.

Then Doctor John Yam gave Mummy & Daddy a folder containing all the various hospitals maternity packages and rates.

Mummy has decided to deliver at Mount Alvernia hospital as alot of friends and relatives reccommended that the nurses there are kind and experience.

Doctor John Yam also started prescribing the usual Folid Acid for Mummy. It's one a day every morning. Mummy finished 40 tablets le so need to get Doctor John to give Mummy more supplement.

Here's the second scan taken on the 10th January 2009. Baby Chen had grew bigger in the sac. Heartbeat could also be heard then. Baby Chen was about 6mm.

This was the third scan taken on the 24th January 2009 and Baby Chen was 1.6cm. The little embryo body can be seen in the sac.

Here's another scan taken on 12th February 2009 and Baby Chen's so much bigger at about 3.8cm. You can see Baby Chen's head and body clearly. Mummy and Daddy are both very happy to watch Baby grow...

Then it was time for Mummy to go for the Oscar test (NT Scan & Blood Test). Here's the scan taken on the test on 19 February 2009 at NUH. One minute you can see Baby Chen's hand up.

Another minute the hand was down but the foot was up. Baby Chen was bouncing thru out the scan and nurse said Baby Chen is very active.

Mummy had to endure the pain as a test tube of blood was drawn from her body. Can you see the needle hole?

Grand Uncle Alvin and Grand Aunt Yin Han passed Mummy some books to read up on pregnancy and also some hand-me-downs like the baby pram and also playpen. Thank you to them alot! Daddy can save alittle money.

Right now, Mummy is just beginning her second trimester but she is still going thru her all-day sickness. She has no idea when it will fade off so she can get better. Though Doctor John Yam said it should be anytime from now. Let's just hope Mummy will get better.

Daddy is also shortlisting some names for Baby Chen. Name choosing is so tough as there are hardly any nice names. Most are relli common.

At this moment, Mummy and Daddy are also considering if they should keep Baby Chen's cord blood / stem blood as its rather expensive.

The next visit to Doctor John Yam is on the 7th March 2009, then Mummy will start her package with Doctor John. Mummy will be attending the Antenatal Classes in June and she will definitely drag Daddy along.
